On the eighth day of the novena to St. Ezekiel Moreno, the faithful reflected on his perseverance in faith and service. Despite battling cancer, he remained devoted to the poor and the sick, becoming a powerful symbol of hope as the Patron Saint of Cancer Patients.
In celebration of his Feast Day on August 19, 2025, the Ma. Teresa Charity Foundation, Inc. (MTCFI) held a Medical Mission yesterday, serving 100 pediatric and 100 adult patients from Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City. The mission aimed to embody St. Ezekiel’s legacy of compassion and care for the vulnerable.
This effort was made possible through the generous support of Mrs. Cecilia Ong, Mrs. Lorna and Mr. Arvin Villaruel, Ms. Jess and Ms. Bing Vargas, Mrs. Josephine Uy, Ms. Lalaine Paduano, Kenneth Construction, and RKVT Construction.
MTCFI also extends heartfelt thanks to the Augustinian Recollect Nuns of St. Ezekiel Moreno Monastery, RESOURCE-Handuman Foundation, Inc., ARCORES Philippines, Siervas de Maria Sisters, volunteer doctors, the MTCFI Social Media Team, and all MTCFI volunteers. Their shared commitment made the mission a true act of healing, love, and solidarity—honoring the enduring legacy of St. Ezekiel Moreno.
