MTCFI Scholars’ 2nd General Assembly
The MTCFI Scholars' General Assembly was held on July 7, 2024, at San Blas Parish, Inc., bringing together the MTCFI community to reflect on past achievements, outline future plans, and strengthen the bond between scholars, their families, and the foundation. The event began with a session dedicated to revisiting the Mission and Vision of the MTCFI Foundation, ensuring alignment with the foundation's core values and long-term goals. The foundation proudly presented its first-year accomplishment reports, highlighting the successful implementation of educational programs, community outreach initiatives, and various support systems established for scholars. Future projections for 2024-2025 were also discussed, including plans to expand educational support, introduce new skill development workshops, and enhance community engagement projects.
A critical part of the assembly was the discussion and signing of the Kasunduan (Agreement) for both old and new scholars, symbolizing their commitment to the foundation's values and expectations. The election of Parent's Officers aimed to establish a robust support system for scholars, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both scholars and their families. Additionally, school supplies were distributed to alleviate some of the financial burdens on families and ensure that all scholars are well-prepared for the academic year. The assembly concluded with a reaffirmation of the foundation's mission, a celebration of past achievements, and a clear road map for future activities, fostering a sense of community, commitment, and collaboration as scholars and their families embark on the new academic year.
