On March 21, 2026, the Ma. Teresa Charity Foundation, Inc. conducted a meaningful medical mission in partnership with Colegio San Nicholas de Tolentino - Recoletos and Servias de Maria at Sitio Mambucog, Brgy. Zone 16, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The initiative aimed to extend care and compassion to underserved members of the community.
Through the collective efforts of dedicated volunteers and five participating doctors, the program delivered essential services, including free medical check-ups and the distribution of medicines. A total of 150 pediatric patients and 150 adults were given medical assistance during the mission, reflecting the reach and impact of this initiative.
The activity not only addressed immediate health needs but also fostered a spirit of unity and service among all those involved. It highlighted the importance of reaching out and making healthcare more accessible to those who need it most. In recognition of this collaborative effort, MCTFI was also honored with a certificate from CSNT-R.
The MCTFI Founder, Ma. Teresa Valois-Taganile, and the program head of the foundation, Johny Lasponia expressed their heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer, partner, and medical professional who contributed their time and effort to make the mission a success. Their generosity and commitment continue to inspire hope in the communities they serve.
