Last January 19, 2025, the St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Shrine in La Castellana, Negros Occidental, transformed into a haven of care and compassion as the Ma. Teresa Charity Foundation, Inc. hosted a medical mission for 500 evacuees affected by the recent Kanlaon eruption.
Organized in collaboration with the Siervas de Maria, Volunteer Doctors, Nurses, & Medical Technologists, St. Vincent Ferrer Parish priests & staff, barangay health workers, and the foundation's volunteers, the event aimed to address the urgent medical needs of displaced families.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the generous sponsors who made this event possible: Kenneth Construction and General Merchandise and RKVT Construction and to the St. Vincent Ferrer Parish-Shrine who welcomed and prepared food for the team. Your kindness and support truly made a difference.
This effort was a testament to the power of community and faith, offering a reminder that even in the face of adversity, healing and solidarity can pave the way to brighter tomorrows.
We would like to thank our sponsors for their valuable support.
